Whilst they may be out-numbered in the poker world, the ladies at the NCPO are proving themselves to be formidable players in the main event. We have 4 women left in the competition: Lisa (Australia), Yuri (Japan), Vi Vee (Phillipines), Olivia (New Caledonia) with respectable chip-stacks leading into level 15.
Olivia is no stranger to final tables here in New Caledonia: she took out three events during November’s Asia Poker Tour, and is back in full swing today. She began with a below-average stack, but has managed to reclaim some ground in the first few hours.
Lisa began the day as the tenth chip-leader, with just over 100,000 stacked up.
